“I attended an “Introduction to Mindfulness” course. I found it excellent from the presentation and content point of view. I liked the fact that no unrealistic claims were made. Everyone’s experiences of our mindfulness practices were upheld as valid, even if these experiences were very different.
I came away from the course with a willingness to try to continue with the practices. They have helped to ground me in a very busy period of my life. I have not made big momentous changes to my lifestyle but the small changes have helped a lot i.e. mindfulness with movement before bed-time has helped my sleeping patterns. Also breathing techniques can slow down the frantic pace of some everyday tasks. Drinking a cup of tea, smelling a flower, even walking is a whole new experience when doing it mindfully! I enjoyed the course so much that I choose to repeat the Introductory course and brought new ideas away from that too!”

“Mindfulness is a practice I had read quite a bit about but it wasn’t until I attended a course that I fully grasped the concept and the simplicity of being mindful. although, implementing the practice takes conscious effort and awareness. However, the course taught me how to implement mindfulness in my everyday life. Mindfulness used diligently and effectively can only change our lives for the better.”
